Sir Syed Education Society (SSES)

Sir Syed Educational Institutions are being run by Sir Syed Education Society which was founded in 1964 by some Aligarians who were working in P.O.F.

Sir Syed Education Society is a registered NGO which is self supporting. Chairman POF Board is the Patron in chief of SSEI. It has a President , a Coordinator, a Gen. Secretary and Financial Secretary in its managing committee.

Sir Syed College Wah Cantt was the first ever Private English Medium Institution in the Regionfounded in the year 1965. Later wards in the past 45 years society established 5 more campuses as  Sir Syed College Campus – II,  Sir Syed High School Sanjwal , Sir Syed High School Havelian , POF Model High school Gudwal, POF Model Primary School 25 Area. In 2006 two schools of welfare trust one in Havelian and Wah have also been merged in Sir Syed educational Institutions.

We are imparting quality education at SSC and HSSC level for the wards of P.o.F as well as Non-P.O.F employees. All the SSEI institutions have been affiliated with federal Board. The medium of instruction is English. Three of our institutions are running in two shifts that is morning and evening. The current strength of SSEI is more than 10,000 who are being looked after by 500 efficient and dedicated teachers. Sir Syed Education society has provided an ideal environment in the institutions in terms of spacious classrooms, fully equipped Labs and sports facilities.

Our students secure top ranking positions in the region as well as in the Federal Board. All the institutions produce 98-100% results and our GPA remains between 4.8 & above.

It is worth mentioning that POF Model High School was declared The Best institution all over Pakistan in Federal Board in the year 2005 for the first time in the history of Wah Region. For the two consecutive years two of our teachers from the same Campus were rewarded as best teachers by the Federal Board.

Apart from academics, our students equally participate in co curricular activities to inculcate leadership qualities among the students Declamation contests , Sports and Painting competitions etc are being conducted on regular basis.

We can safely say without any doubt that all the SSEI’s are contributing towards Nation Building as majority of our students are serving in the Armed forces and an equal majority is serving as doctors , engineers , lawyers and teachers.
